Underwear Burps

It has not been a particularly exciting week-we're all recuperating from a stomach virus that has made its way through our home and the homes of many of our friends.  Our experience was fairly mild compared to some other stories I've heard lately.

Tonight we ate Subway for dinner (which I don't think I was necessarily ready for).  While lying in bed with Grace tonight, snuggling and discussing our day, I commented to her that my sub was giving me the burps.  She then told me that her sub was giving her underwear burps and proceeded to crack herself up.  Silly goose...

Candy, Hearts and Love

After some Valentine crafts this morning, Grace and I put together a Valentine set for my upcoming mini sessions.  She was happy to sit and snack on candies, asking me what each one said.  The sayings sure have changed since I was a kid- "Email me" being just one example.

Is almost three and a half years old

loves her babies

has imaginary grand kids and children that she talks about constantly

loves high-heeled shoes, the trashier the better

thinks the majority of the things I say and do are incorrect

knows most of her letters

is extremely particular

loves cooking and watching cooking on tv (I think she could host her own show)

often wakes me up in the morning with a question like, "Mommy, do grey seals bite?"

still sleeps with me at night

is a quick learner

constantly pesters me for treats and gum

drinks mostly chocolate milk

still asks for a kiss on her owies

loves dancing and music

wakes me up to go pee-pee at night

wants to be just like me (scary!)

is best friends with "Gracyn Elaine Heckert"

can count up to twenty

still loves ears

wants everything explained in great detail

is a caring friend

is tall for her age

loves watching Curious George and Mickey Mouse Club House

seems to have a new cold every few weeks

loves clothes and shopping for clothes 

has the most adorable mispronunciations like "ittle bit" and "kintar" (guitar) and "privatecy"

insists that she's right when I try to correct her song lyrics like "in excelsis stay-a-waaaay"

takes a nap most days

usually says please and thank you

has an amazing memory for details

is so funny and often cracks herself up

often says, "Mommy, I just want to snuggle you." or "Mommy, I really do love you, though."

calls Dave "Daddy" now and often calls me "Mom"

is the best little girl this mom could ever ask for
