Florida Pics 2013

We've been enjoying our trip so far.  Mostly the weather has been good, with cooler temps this weekend and a little rain.  It's supposed to warm up for Dave's visit this coming Friday....hoping the forecast stays that way.

Grace has been missing her Daddy so much this year, and has been all over the map with her emotions lately.  No naps yet - I think she's done with them for good, which has it's advantages and disadvantages.  She's been entertaining us with her singing and dancing, and some waitressing here and there too.

I have been enjoying my iphone so much, I have rarely picked up my real camera, and I have to say, I like my phone pics better.  Way easier to tote around, of course, and I get to be more creative and spontaneous, too.  More pics on Instagram, but here's a few photos from the beach...

Instagram

I recently got an iphone (yay!) and since then I have been enjoying Instagram quite a bit (a photo-sharing community where you can follow others).  It's been a much easier way for me  to document our lives (with the camera on my phone) these days.  If you want to follow me, I am #Kryshamarie.

Christmas 2012

Lots of good times this Christmas season.  Uncle Seth came home with his girlfriend, Grace and I had a playdate with cousin Anna, and we got to spend a few days with Dave's brothers family as well. Couldn't ask for more...

So excited for Christmas morning!

Christmastime

We kicked off the Christmas season last weekend with The Nutcracker on Saturday and a trip to the tree farm on Sunday.

Grace enjoyed the first half of the play, during the second half, however, she turned to me and whispered, "Mommy, this is boring."  I have to admit, I was a little bored by then, too.

As we have for the last three years, we met my parents to cut down our own tree.  This year, we all decided to buy from the pre-cut area.  Grace and Grandma had some fun looking, though.

Grace could not have been more excited to get home and decorate our tree.  It was torture for her to have to wait a whole day to hang ornaments.  When she finally got the chance, she was thrilled and did the majority of the work.

Every day, Grace has been asking if it's Christmas yet.  We are counting down with one very excited little girl!
