Mother's Day 2012

Within minutes of waking up on this mother's day morning, Grace was in full tantrum mode.  Crying so hard she has gagging herself-the whole nine.  Sitting here now, I can't even remember what it was that was bothering her so much.  Fortunately, our day ended much better than it began-with a sleeping girl in her car seat at 7PM after we arrived home from a full day at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Dave had a weekend filled with soccer tournaments, which made for a long week for me.  Especially since most of the week I was sick with bronchitis.  So, when Sunday arrived, it was nice to have some time up at my parent's house with Grace.  I think she needed a change of scenery.

She cruised around on the deck in her cozy coupe playing "water delivery lady."  She would offering us refreshments and then take them away when we weren't looking.  She also had fun fishing on the dock with Grandpa, and later with Daddy, and actually caught her first fish!  It was quite exciting.  It brought back a lot of memories for me, fishing at Houghton Lake as a child.

"What would you like today, Grandpa?"

 "Here's your water!"
