Book(s) of the Month - January 2010

This month, we've loved reading Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones by Claire Freedman.  It's a great book for night-night time; rhymey (if that's a word) and full of the cutest baby animals from the Serengeti.

 

One of my favorite books to read to Grace is On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman.  This book was given to me by my cousin, Kim and her daughter, Courtney at my baby shower.  Tillman has a very unique style of writing and illustrating.  It's a beautiful book; one of few I do not tire of reading.  It's one that Grace has never said, "No, No!" to, taken away from me, and thrown on the floor (as she does with so many others she doesn't care for), and that's saying something!
