Cousins and a Birthday Bash

We've had one busy day.  It started with a get-together among cousins, and aunts and grandmas and Mommies; a spray park, pizza, brownies and a lots of silliness.  The cast of characters included cousins, Emma, Addy, Kaylee, Nolan, and Aidan; Aunt(s) Sue and Carol; my Momma, the Nomma; and Nicole and me (and Grace, of course).  It was great time spent among family.

Although some fun was had in the spray park initially (mainly Addy and Emma, with Grace observing), most time was spent in the grass where little cousins played, snacked and ran around.  I loved watching the kids chasing one another, laughing hysterically all the while.  Oh, to be young again...

Our evening was spent at Grace's friend, Benjamin's birthday party.  He turned two, and had quite a bash, complete with a bouncer for the kids, lots of land to run free, an Elmo pinata, and amazing pulled-pork sandwiches.  But, things weren't all bubble gum and sunshine.  I discovered, to my horror, that I had forgotten to put the memory card back in my camera after this morning's festivities, and therefore, all of the aforementioned birthday activities were left un-captured.  Darn.  And there was a whole lot of cuteness that went on, too.  Grace even shared her sucker with another little girl, after which she had lips and a tongue as blue as her eyes. Oh well...
